Artist Statement:
My admiration of mountains and rivers started in my youth. Every Summer, my mother took me to mountains to hike and climb and the surrounding rivers and lakes just to relax. This is why I long for mountains and rivers when I go on a trip. Subsequently, it became so natural for me to capture, photographically, the mountain scenery. Recently, I have been revisiting the places that my mother took me. It was in 2022 when I went back to BandaiAsahi National Park in Fukushima. These images show the beauty of Fall colors and lush greenery that I miss so much.
