- Intro to Film Development: Learn how to properly process black and white film step-by-step with Donna Cosentino, a skilled and practiced teacher of analog photography for over 30 years and Director of The Photographer’s Eye Gallery and Collective. These are private/semi-private classes, with a maximum of two students.
You will learn: To load your exposed film onto a reel and place in the developing tank, all in the absolute dark; to ready the developer, stop and fix chemicals to process your film; to process your film accurately and at temperature, wash, dry, and cut your film and place in protective sleeve; how to look at your negs on a light table to evaluate them/problem solve. All you need to bring is an exposed roll of black and white film. We provide the rest and you walk out with a developed roll of film!
This is a private class for one, approx. one and a half hours.

- Black and White Darkroom Printing I: Learn to make black and white prints in the Darkroom with Donna Cosentino as your mentor.
You will learn: What to look for in a negative to create a quality print. How to operate an enlarger. How to make a properly exposed contact sheet. How to test for a properly exposed enlargement with correct contrast. You will also learn darkroom etiquette. You will use our paper and our chemicals and Donna will be with you step by step. You will walk out with one good print from your best negative if it is printable.
This is a private class for one, approx. two hours.

- Black and White Darkroom Printing II: Improve your darkroom printing skills with Donna Cosentino as your mentor. This class is for the student who understands how to make a print but wants to increase their skills and understanding regarding making a fine print. We’ll evaluate your negatives and we’ll have a discussion regarding your needs.
This is a private class for one, approx. two and a half hours.

- Camera Basics with Donna: Join Donna for a hands-on, 1½-hour class designed to help you get comfortable with your film or digital camera. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to sharpen your skills, Donna will guide you through the essentials of settings, composition, and creative control in a relaxed, supportive environment. Bring your camera, your questions, and your curiosity!
