ARTIST STATEMENT: I’ve always loved to photograph in stormy weather. An aunt once told me that I was the only person she knew that hoped for bad weather when going on vacation. I think it is the moodiness of the sky during a storm, as well as an approaching or clearing storm. Maybe it’s my Gemini nature that can relate to both the darkness and the light present in storm clouds. The four images in this show are from Sunset Cliffs in San Diego, one of my favorite locations to photograph stormy weather when I’m in town.
