ARTIST STATEMENT: In my work I am drawn to photographic abstraction, using the geometric forms of contemporary architecture to create my own graphic expressions. This I do by capturing fragments of this architecture; taking lines, form, shadows and light; layering them into one cohesive abstract image that expresses my own appreciation of modern architecture. Most of my work is in black and white, the better to bring a sense of the dynamic to the finished image.
