Artist Statement:
My interest isn’t in broad strokes or ephemera, but cataloging the minute physical details inside a discrete slice of the world, whether it’s a large landscape or a bird’s feather. Printing my images using historical and alternative processes allows me to create a print that retains a sense of physicality and accentuates the feeling of pausing in place, observing the finer structures that make up a larger picture.
Artist Bio:
A native of San Diego, California - David Marsh was a 20 year veteran of the video game industry as an artist and designer before switching his creative focus to photography and printmaking during the pandemic. He currently resides in Escondido, California.
