Process:
A black and white film negative from a toy camera was scanned and printed onto vellum with archival pigment. A metal leafing size is then applied with a brush to the back of the translucent image and 24k gold leaf pressed in sheets and worked by hand into the full image area. The print is then sprayed with acrylic varnish to preserve and add vibrancy.
