Artist Statement:
Upon my mom’s passing, I discovered something that forever changed my life. I found a Black & White photograph of my parents. On the back of the picture was written in pencil by my mom “Little Priscilla took this picture at age 5”. My interest and love for photography is an endless journey of unexpected special moments. The camera allows me to see numerous possibilities creatively and gives me permission to have no boundaries. I use the camera as my second set of eyes to capture images that express a visual communication of how I feel and see. I soon discover the delicate balances between color, size, shape, and lines. I am an image seeker constantly looking for images that want to be discovered or captured. The mission is to visually communicate that this universe has an abundance of endless possibilities’ yet to be explored.
