ARTIST STATEMENT: Four-years ago I found myself faced with the reality that life as I knew it was changed. My new life required the removal of my vocal cords and a redesign of my anatomy. Since my surgery I have chosen to see the opportunities that each new day can bring rather than what it took away from me. I feel like a tree I have continued to flourish and adapt to changes around me.
