Dennis Segers is a photographic artist whose work blends historical photographic processes with modern digital techniques. His landscapes reflect an intimate perspective and a deep reverence for the land. Based in Carmel, California, Segers specializes in alternative photographic processes, including Platinum/Palladium printing, which lends his images a timeless, tactile quality.
Segers’ photographs have been included in numerous juried exhibitions across the United States. His series “Trees – Of Life and Legacy” was awarded a 2024 CriticalMass Top-200 recognition and he was a featured artist in the 2025 edition of the book “Alternative Photography; Art and Artists”.

Beyond photography, Segers has an extensive background in the semiconductor industry, having served as Chairman of the Board as Xilinx, Inc, and now as Chairman of the Board at QuantumScape, Inc. His ability to bridge the worlds of science and art informs his approach to image-making where precision meets intuition.
