Her earlier alternative photographic images from the 1970’s were included in select exhibitions at Pier 24 (2017), and a camera-less fabric piece from 1976 was shown at SFMOMA, in the exhibition Sightlines, 2022-2023. From 2013 to 2022, she collaborated with fellow photographers from Los Angeles in an innovative concept—The Museum Project— in which a select group of her Aqueous Myths were placed in over 70 museum collections throughout the United States and Europe. In 2024, selected images from two series, Sanctuary and Umbra opened a group exhibition of a new gallery in La Jolla: LOS / NR - level of service / not required. It is from these previous images, she continues to explore the mythology of the bed, discovering subtle metaphors of struggle encompassing both pain and pleasure within these nocturnal landscapes, the cartography drawn by its nightly inhabitants. In 2026, two series, the Aqueous Myths and Saving Grace, Photographs of the Seven Sisters of the Pleiades, recently exhibited at the Museum of Photographic Arts in Balboa Park (2023), will now travel to Richard M. Ross Museum on the campus of Ohio Wesleyan University. Suda House Website: SudaHouse.com Insta: @sudahouse
