ARTIST STATEMENT:
When I considered what photograph I would make for this show I was initially frightened in that I have little to no experience making portraits. I had to step out of my passion photographing old buildings, mountains, forests, and abstract designs of decay. I also realized one image would not capture the essence, the moods, and faces of my granddaughter, Grace. So, what better way to see the variety than a contact sheet.
