ARTIST STATEMENT: Making images of oneself can be a challenging process, and I was up for the challenge for my newest body of work. I decided I would best portray myself on my property where I love to spend most of my time. I stuck with the process I used for my last body of work, which is double exposure Polaroid images. It was a lot of fun blending the landscape and features of the expansive rural property I live on with self portraits of me doing some of the work it takes to keep this beautiful land up.
