ARTIST STATEMENT: It's dark at night. Monsters are under the bed.
This NightWalk show tweeked my perceptions a bit and was a fun exercise to focus on. I found subjects to be more isolated. Their context being limited by the reduced ambient light. This changed the relevance of backgrounds and adjacent elements and altered the visual impact of the subjects. I adjusted my thinking as I started shooting and enjoyed the challenge.
