My name is Kevin Baca and I am a self-taught photographer born and raised in San Diego County. I began my photography career shooting primarily street still life and creating pocketable zines with my images. My work has been featured in notable contemporary art magazines like Noice Mag, Rental Magazine, Minimal Zine, and Broad Magazine. I had my first solo show at Good Faith Gallery in Sherman Heights, San Diego. My current body of work is more hands on as I now process my own black and white film and print my images in the darkroom. I have found that the tangible nature of film and silver gelatin prints has brought me a new appreciation for photography.
