ARTIST STATEMENT: During the shut down time of COVID-19 I spent my afternoons walking the Eagle Crest Golf Course with my camera and my thoughts. Initially my goal was to document the activities of other people on the course. I witnessed families walking and riding bikes, and men playing golf for free. Some practiced social distancing, and many others did not. I did capture some of these activities, but enjoyed myself most when I minded my own business and got lost in my thoughts. Regardless of what I saw, or didn’t see, I practiced gratitude for living in a beautiful place with plenty of wide open space to wander in.
