The greatest disaster of this pandemic will not be the virus, but our overreaction to it. Our fearful political leaders and their “experts” offer no rational solutions rather than to shut us down, suppress our essence, and drive us into financial and spiritual depression.
Loss of basic liberties, socially isolating ourselves from each other, and those awkward vacant stares, looking at each other as if we were the contagion itself. I fear these will be the pitiful consequences that may linger long after this virus has run its natural course.
My individual images were stirred by those emotions that tug at us all. How we face this disaster and emerge with some sense of dignity, while getting up and standing up to secure our liberty once again.
