ARTIST STATEMENT: This was a picture taken at Double Peak in San Marcos during an evening sunset just as social distancing had recently been announced. I had been to this area numerous times to enjoy and capture the breathtaking view. On this day I was consumed by the people honoring each other’s space and wondered how they were feeling.
