PROCESS: Original image creations are made in square format and printed by the artist on matte paper, they are printed multiple times and different sections are cut out. Each piece is creased and molded to resemble the peaks and valleys of the bedding. They are coated with a matte gel medium finish to preserve the structure of the molded paper. Areas where color thread is visible within the image are overlaid with a hand stitched thread to resemble the sheet's original stitching. They are then placed in a shadow lightbox that the artist has contracted illuminating the the finale art piece. Replications can be made in various sizes and are then one of a kind and therefore pricing differs based on size and construction of individual art works.
