After 38 years as a trial lawyer, in her building that now houses the Photographer’s Eye Collective, Carla DeDominicis retired and took up the cameras she had put away since her first, brief career as a photojournalist at the now defunct North County Times Advocate. She specializes in wildlife photography, although she will shoot any opportunity that arises (except for weddings and children). DeDominicis’ work has been featured on the British Lion Aide Calendar, on National Geographic Your Shot, in Outdoor Photography Magazine, in the San Diego Natural History Museum, and in the 2020 National Association of Nature Photographer’s Top 250 images.
